Getting back into the groove of performing has been rewarding. On Friday February 3rd, I performed at The Black Arts Showcase, "Lift Every Voice" and on February 4th at Hob Nobs cafe in Phoenix, AZ. I had so much fun and the audience was a beautiful energetic crowd! :)

So back in October 2011, I was asked to help out as an extra for a short independent zombie film. Eager to try something new and help out, I said yes. Instead of being an extra, I ended up becoming the actress for the film! haha! My job was to act like a terrible actress. Interesting right? Here is the video below. Did I act out my part well? :-)

Here is my very first music video directed by my good friend Michael Dazen with Alexander D. Chapin and Danielle Deutsch!! Not only is this my first time doing a music video, this is also my very first collaboration. Doing this music video has inspired me to create great music videos in the future! :)

This is a short film I put together about dealing with stress. It's a light comedy and I hope you'll enjoy watching it! Even though the film is about stress, I had a fun time putting it together. This video marks the start of some film projects that I will be doing in the future. The short films will contain all original content by myself and my crew at Soulful & Nice Productions!

I got the results today from the Zenoids Theme Song Contest and I wasn't selected in the top 40. I found out there were more than 300 talented composers who participated. I give us all a high-five for our efforts!! I congratulate the composers who were selected as finalists and wish them the best of luck to receive the title! Throughout the month of November, I've been involved in various media projects. So here's the big update!

1.) As I mentioned in a previous post, I participated in the Deuce Radio Promotion contest. I didn't win but I was in the top 10 at number 6! Out of the many musicians that participated, this feels like a win to me. Thank you to all who supported me! :)

2.) The next event I participated in was the "Zenoids Theme music contest." I had to create an original theme song for a new animated web series hosted by renown film composer Michael Giacchino!! I should be receiving notice any day now if I succeeded as a finalist. More updates are posted on the website here! As soon as the contest permits, I will upload my song to my site for you to hear. Wish me Luck!!

3.) Doritos held its annual "Crash the Superbowl" commercial competition. With a group of friends, we produced a commercial for the potential to be aired during the Superbowl in 2012. Click here to view our video 'Hungry Ducklings'!

I was watching TV today and I watched this commercial. I fell out laughing at how ridiculous this commercial is! He is advertising a energy drink that really isn't good for you and at the end of the commercial, "Worx" energy drink is trying to convince you that "Worx" is good for you and works for real. It was a bit contradicting in my opinion. After finding this video on YouTube, I discovered that this man Marty Lempkin does more infomercial spoofs. The other one I like is the "Epic Pass."

I have just released the second Karma Soleil EP online for you all to hear. This one is called Eyes Unclouded. I wanted to delve into the techno world considering this music is a popular genre these days. I also love techno music myself! If you love techno/dance music, I hope you will enjoy mine.
