Some of you may remember the Make-A-Wish month at Cold Stone Creamery from my post last year. They hold this every year in which they give out a free ice-cream creation in September and accept donations. The proceeds will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. This year, they will be giving out a Sprinkled with wishes creation free on September 27th, 2011 between 5pm-8pm at all Cold Stone Creamery locations in the U.S. I plan on being there again this year!

I attended the "world's largest ice-cream social" event today at Cold Stone Creamery to donate to the Make-A-Wish Foundation and to also eat Kate's Creation for free!  I respect what the Make-A-Wish foundation does for children who have life-threatening medical conditions and I also enjoy Cold Stone Creamery's ice-cream. Therefore, I was happy to donate to the cause!  I hope some of you were able to attend and/or enjoy the event. It was lovely ice-cream and a great fundraiser! 

One of my favorite artists Kenna shared with his fans that he was going to be involved in a fundraising project to fight the global clean water crisis. He, as well as many other celebrities (Lupe Fiasco, Jessica Biel, etc), took on the challenge to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro to raise awareness. This event is known as the Summit on the Summit. I respect Kenna as an artist and also what he is trying to do for countries that don’t have clean water. I participated in the Summit on the Summit and donated a foot to the cause at 1,036ft. Each donation will provide clean, safe drinking water to those in need. Once the climb is complete, they are going to release a documentary of the journey. I hope it is a successful fundraiser!
